Mentoring Support

Mentoring Support

Liberate Education believes a good mentor is someone who is enthusiastic about helping others overcome their barriers and support them to achieve their goals. Ultimately, mentoring connects people to personal growth and development which will help them adapt and gain new perspectives on their life choices.

We aim to provide a wide range of mentoring and coaching support to help improve a young person’s well-being and knowledge base.

During each placement all young people will have access to a mentor on site to discuss any concerns or worries they may have. There will also be awareness sessions each day on the following:

> Actions and consequences
> Healthy relationships
> Respect Programme
> CSE/ CEE awareness
> Exclusion Prevention

Everyone experiences the wheel of change throughout life. Here at Liberate we use it as a tool to help individuals recognise where they currently fit within the wheel and what steps they need to take to ensure they can maintain the skills they have learnt.
