Transition- This Intervention is designed for those students who may require further support whilst transitioning to mainstream lessons or new school placement.
Home visits-Due to Covid it has become apparent that there are more and more young people who are struggling with their mental health which has lead to a drop in school attendance. Our aim is to work with the young person and support them with reintegration back into mainstream society, especially as there are more parents who are opting to home school their child due to their own worries and concerns. Therefore as part of our home visits we work with the young people, parents and school representatives to ensure the young person is safe and well and has all the necessary resources available to them to enable them to make informed decisions regarding their educational journey.
Parental/Carer support group
Most parents/ carers can often feel alone when trying to support their children’s needs. It can be reassuring to meet other parents experiencing similar concerns or worries. Therefore we have created a coffee morning where parents / carers can come together share their experiences and learn about
different topics and signs of safety and where to get further support. To find out more please contact the centre.
